We’re working with an international technology-led group to appoint an IT Security Manager to support and develop its Group-wide cyber security, governance, risk and compliance strategy across Europe. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll help shape security standards, strengthen cyber resilience and build a strong security-first culture across a growing organisation. The role You’ll work closely with senior IT leadership to: * Develop and implement Group-wide IT & Cyber Security strategy * Own security policies, governance frameworks and risk registers * Lead cyber risk assessments, remediation and incident response * Oversee external security partners and supplier security audits * Lead annual penetration testing and security awareness programmes * Support Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and similar frameworks * Improve security monitoring, logging and SIEM capabilities * Support business continuity, disaster recovery and acquisition due diligence * Produce clear security reporting for IT and business leadership The technology You’ll work across a modern security environment including: Microsoft Azure, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, SentinelOne, Mimecast, Tenable, KnowBe4, SD-WAN, SIEM About you We’re looking for an experienced IT/cyber security professional with a strong background in security governance, risk and compliance, ideally within a multi-site or international environment. You’ll bring: * Experience developing IT security policies and governance frameworks * Strong Azure security and cloud governance knowledge * Experience with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or similar * Practical knowledge of security technologies and SIEM platforms * Cyber security risk and incident management experience * Excellent stakeholder and communication skills * A commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach * Willingness to travel within Europe when required This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of Group-wide security initiatives and play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience.
