Live in Caretaker/Maintenance South Kensington SW7 8am to 5pm Mon to Fri £27,000 to £31,000 depending on experience Excellent opportunity for an experienced Caretaker with some basic handy/maintenance and painting skills to work at a private mansion block. The role is lone working and therefore the right candidate will be self motivated and proactive with a strong proven track record and able to produce excellent references. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills to liaise professionally with residents and visitors. Good practical maintenance skills by being comfortable carrying out minor repairs, changing light bulbs, basic painting, identifying defects. Must have good cleaning skills for cleaning the communal areas of the block including managing domestic rubbish and recycling collection; take pride in polishing the brass fixtures to the building. This is a hands-on, live-in role requiring a seamless combination of cleaning, basic maintenance, security and health and safety and fire prevention building checks, minor seasonal garden maintenance/waterting. Ensure daily distribution of mail and parcels, maintain the cleanliness of the communal areas, record keeping and generally take responsibility for the day to day operations and management of the block
