Position: Electronics Assembler Location: Cwmbran, Torfaen Salary: £13 - £14 per hour Electronics Assembler required. Our client is a small, specialist engineering company manufacturing electronic and electro-mechanical products. They are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to join their team, carrying out precision assembly, soldering and wiring using small components and fine wiring. Previous soldering experience is essential, along with excellent attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach. Electronics Assembler Position Overview Assembling electronic and electro-mechanical products to drawings and instructions Soldering electronic components, wires, cables and connectors Preparing and assembling PCBs, connectors and mechanical components Carrying out wiring, cable preparation and crimping where required Inspecting own work to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy Following assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and production instructions Carrying out basic continuity checks and testing where required Identifying and reporting assembly defects Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area Assisting with general production duties as required Electronics Assembler Position Requirements Previous soldering experience is essential Good wiring and assembly skills Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity Comfortable working with small components and fine wires Ability to follow technical drawings and instructions Careful, reliable and methodical approach to work Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Good practical and organisational skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Electronics Assembler Position Remuneration £13.00 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time or part-time available Full-time: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Part-time: 25 hours per week Flexibility in working hours will be considered 28 days' holiday plus 2 company days and bank holidays Private healthcare after 1 year's proven employment Workplace pension after 3 months' full-time employment 6-month probationary periodBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
