Learning Support Assistants & Teaching Assistants Wanted! 🌟 📍 Telford & Shropshire | Mainstream & Specialist SEND Schools Are you passionate about supporting children and young people and making a real, positive difference in their lives? We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work across a range of mainstream schools, specialist SEND settings and SEMH provisions throughout Telford and Shropshire. 👩‍🏫 The Role You could be supporting children and young people one-to-one or in small groups, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and achieve their potential. We are looking for individuals with experience supporting children and young people with: SEND / additional needs Autism / ASD Global developmental delay Communication and language difficulties SEMH needs Behaviours that challenge Complex or additional learning needs ⭐ What We're Looking For We want people who are: Energetic and enthusiastic Resilient and patient Proactive and adaptable Compassionate and understanding Confident working with challenging or complex behaviours Able to build positive relationships with children and young people Passionate about helping children with SEND reach their potential Committed to making a genuine positive difference Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential. ✅ Requirements Previous experience working with children/young people with SEND Experience with Autism, global delay, communication difficulties and/or behaviours that challenge An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS You must have worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 months A positive, professional and flexible approach 💙 Make a Difference Every child is different, and every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
