SEN School Staff - Shrewsbury Location: Shrewsbury - SY2, SY5 & SY7 Age Range: EYFS - Post-16 / up to 18 years Positions: Full-Time, Part-Time & Day-to-Day Agency: Aspire People SEN Teaching & Support Opportunities - Shrewsbury Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced and passionate SEN professionals to work across a number of specialist SEN schools and settings in the Shrewsbury area. We have a variety of opportunities available across EYFS, primary, secondary and post-16, supporting children and young people aged from early years through to 18. We are looking for individuals who have strong SEN experience and are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential. Roles Available We are recruiting for a range of positions, including: SEN Teachers Qualified Teachers Unqualified Teachers with relevant SEN experience Teaching Assistants Higher Level Teaching Assistants Learning Support Assistants Behaviour Support Staff 1:1 SEN Support Classroom Support Staff Specialist SEN staff What we're looking for The ideal candidates will have: Strong and relevant experience working with children or young people with SEND Experience supporting pupils across EYFS, primary, secondary or post-16 A patient, nurturing and supportive approach The ability to build positive relationships with pupils Experience managing challenging behaviour where relevant A genuine passion for helping children and young people progress The ability to work effectively as part of a specialist team QTS or other relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential where you can demonstrate strong, relevant SEN experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience supporting pupils with complex needs, autism, communication needs, behavioural needs, learning difficulties or other additional needs.
