Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent | 37.5 hours per week + overtime About the Opportunity A leading water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join its growing team in Hertfordshire. Benefits of the Water Hygiene Engineer Opportunity Company vehicle provided Competitive salary Performance-related bonus Door-to-door paid travel Overtime available Ongoing training and career progressionAs a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of water hygiene services across commercial client sites, including: Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling Servicing and maintaining TMVs, alongside minor remedial works Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers Completing showerhead cleaning, descaling, and disinfection Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all works meet relevant industry standards Working in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelinesThe successful Water Hygiene Engineer will ideally have: A minimum of 3 years' experience in water hygiene or a relevant plumbing environment Appropriate water hygiene qualifications and training A full UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to client-facing workIf you are an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a company that invests in its people, apply today or contact Mollie Caswell at Penguin Recruitment for further information
