Fire & Security Engineer £43,000 to £47,000 Basic Salary + Package We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established and growing business. The role will involve working across a range of commercial and domestic sites, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and commissioning across a variety of fire and security systems. The Role As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for: * Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems * Carrying out fault finding and repairs * Installing and commissioning new systems * Working on systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control * Carrying out routine preventative maintenance * Completing small works and system upgrades where required * Liaising with customers and providing a professional level of service * Completing service reports and relevant documentation * Working independently and managing your own workload * Ensuring all work is completed to the required technical and safety standards Systems Experience with one or more of the following systems would be beneficial: * Fire Alarm Systems * Intruder Alarm Systems * CCTV * Access Control * Door Entry * Other electronic security systems The Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within the Fire & Security industry and be confident working independently on customer sites. We are open to candidates with a strong background in either Fire, Security or both, depending on their experience. You should have: * Previous experience as a Fire Engineer, Security Engineer or Fire & Security Engineer * Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills * Good customer service and communication skills * A professional approach when dealing with customers * A full UK driving licence * The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team Relevant manufacturer training, industry qualifications or experience with recognised systems would be advantageous.
