Key Responsibilities: Academic & Vocational Support: Assist teaching staff in the classroom and around the centre, supporting learners across a variety of vocational and academic subjects. Learner Empowerment: Actively engage and motivate students, supporting the delivery of tailored learning programmes catered to individual abilities, needs, and interests. Progress Tracking: Provide detailed feedback to teaching staff on learner progress against set academic, vocational, and pastoral targets. Outcome Focus: Help learners maintain focus on achieving their desired outcomes and preparing for future progression destinations. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Develop positive working relationships with external agencies and collaborate effectively in multi-agency settings to support holistic student needs. Requirements: Level 2 (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent) in English and Maths is essential. An Enhanced DBS check with Barred Lists is strictly required for this post. Previous experience supporting young people in an educational or FE setting, particularly those with LLDD/SEND needs, is advantageous, though full support is given to those new to the field.
