Senior Site Engineer – Civils / Groundworks We’re working with an established North West construction contractor who are looking to add an experienced Senior Site Engineer to their team. The role would suit a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer with a strong civils / groundworks background, looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing contractor. The Role * Setting out and surveying on civils and groundworks projects * Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions * Working closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers * Ensuring works are being delivered to drawings and specifications * Producing and maintaining site records * Carrying out quality checks and inspections * Liaising with subcontractors and site teams * Monitoring progress and providing technical support on site * Assisting with planning and sequencing of works * Identifying and resolving technical issues We’re looking for someone with: * Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer * Strong civils and groundworks experience * Good setting out experience * Experience working from construction drawings * Good knowledge of levels, coordinates and surveying equipment * Strong understanding of construction methods and site processes * Ability to work closely with site teams and subcontractors * CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications * Experience working for a main contractor would be beneficial What's on Offer * £5,000 – £6,000 salary, depending on experience * Company package * Long-term opportunity with an established North West contractor * Varied civils, groundworks and construction projects * Opportunity to progress within the business
