As an Operations Manager in the industrial industry, you'll oversee the daily functions of the engineering and processing department, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Based in Central Belt Scotland you'll play a key role in driving effective operations and supporting the wider team. Client Details Our client operates in the Industrial, Recycling and Energy from Waste Sector within the Scotland region. Description Manage and optimise daily operations within the engineering and process/manufacturing department. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Reviewing external contractors to make sure they are working to strict SLA's and commercials. Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and priorities. Analyse performance metrics and implement improvement strategies. Oversee resource allocation and workforce planning. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide leadership and support to team members as required.Profile A successful Operations Manager should have: Experience in managing operations in an engineering or manufacturing context. Proven experience working in Energy from Waste, Recycling, Power Plant or Industrial backgrounds. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of operational processes and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong commercial experience needed.Job Offer Salary between £70,000 and £90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
