We're looking for a talented Warehouse Parcel/ Mail Sorters to work for our client at Blue Planet, Stoke On Trent centre. They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field. If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience. The Role: As the Warehouse Parcel Sorter you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis. It is a fast paced environment and you'll be working to efficient methods in order to meet client business performance targets. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you'll be a valuable part of making that happen. Shifts: (working 5 days out of 7): PM Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 - £15.14 per hour Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 - £16.44 per hour Breaks: 40-minute unpaid break per shift In the job you'll be tasked with the following: Manually sorting parcels and mail by postcode Loading and unloading vehicles and cages Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised Working efficiently to tight deadlines Requirements: 5 years of active history(must) Experience: Ideally 3 months' recent experience in warehousing, parcel sorting, or a similar physical role Physically fit - able to lift and move parcels throughout the shift Punctual, dependable, and detail-focused Excellent time management and organisational skills A strong work ethic and 'can-do' attitude UK right to work In addition, you'll need the following: - An excellent communication, team work - A flexible attitude and a team player Start Time: November Induction: Must be available to attend an onsite induction before the start date DBS Check: Applicants must be happy to complete a standard DBS check Benefits: - Paid Holiday - Pension scheme to help you save for your future Does that sound like you?
