Senior Maintenance Technician ELEC BIAS  3 Shift Pattern (8 Hour Shifts)  Salary c£43,000 plus shift supplements      Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with an Electrical Bias looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly automated Distribution Centre in Wakefield as a Senior Maintenance Technician.   Working as part of a skilled and established Engineering Team, you'll play a key role in keeping the operation running efficiently by carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting automation systems across the site.   You'll work on a wide range of equipment, including high-speed packaging machinery, automated conveyor systems, and high-volume picking equipment. With a proactive approach to maintenance, you'll help minimise downtime and maximise operational performance.   As a senior member of the team, you'll also support and oversee Maintenance Technicians, helping to allocate workloads, provide technical guidance, and ensure maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards.   Key Responsibilities for a Senior Maintenance Technician Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance Electrically; System testing, field wiring, system calibration, interpreting circuit diagrams  Knowledge of automated, electrical and pneumatics machinery Strong Attention to detail CMMS use Service and repair of equipment on site  Adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines  Willing to learn and adapt to role requirements. Hands on ownership of issues   Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Senior Maintenance Technician  Minimum Level 3 qualification Electrical Qualification Technical department experience especially in maintenance Experience with working on automated conveyor systems Confidently read schematic diagrams A solid understanding of Health and Safety policies Technical knowledge of electrical/pneumatic/mechanical equipment Excellent understanding of automated equipment Both Electrical and Mechanical skills Root cause analysis skill Experience with Siemens S7 Tia portal would be an advantage Strong Communicator  Organised and good time management skills  Salary and Benefits of a Senior Maintenance Technician Salary c£46,870  3 Shift Pattern (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights) 22 Days Holiday Pension Development and training Medicash   For more information about the Senior Maintenance Technicians role please give the team a call on (phone number removed)   Salary c£43,000 3 Shift Pattern 8 Hour Shifts
