Project Surveyor – Ipswich Project Surveyor – Ipswich New Build Education & Commercial Projects | Up to £40m | £80,000 + Package | Flexible Working An established and highly regarded main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Surveyor to join its growing team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of new build education and commercial projects, with individual project values reaching up to £40 million. The Role As Project Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with the project management and site teams to ensure successful commercial delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial aspects of projects from start to completion Procurement and management of subcontract packages Preparing and managing valuations, variations and payment applications Cost reporting and forecasting Managing subcontractor accounts and payments Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Supporting the project team with commercial and contractual advice Working towards successful project delivery, maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships Preparing and agreeing final accounts About You We are looking for a commercially aware Project Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a main contractor, ideally across new build education, commercial or similar projects. You will need to be organised, commercially driven and confident working with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The ability to take ownership of your projects while working collaboratively with the wider team is essential.
