Graduate Acoustic Consultant Leicester £28,000 - £30,000 per annum My client, a well-established specialist acoustic consultancy operating within the built environment sector, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join its growing team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a relevant degree to launch their career within a technically focused consultancy delivering acoustic solutions across a diverse range of projects. The role offers exposure to projects from initial assessment through to completion, providing the opportunity to build strong client relationships, develop practical experience and establish a long-term career within the acoustics industry. Benefits: Competitive Salary Generous Annual Leave (plus bank holidays and birthday) Excellent Career Progression and Development Opportunities Private Medical Insurance and Life Assurance Employee Assistance Program Paid Annual Membership for a professional institution Duties of a Graduate Acoustic Consultant include: Undertaking Noise and Vibration Impact Assessments Carrying out Sound Insulation Testing Completing Computational Noise Calculations for Building and Environmental Acoustics Producing Technical Reports Suitable for Client Submission Maintaining and Building Relationships with Trusted Clients Collaborating with the Team from Commencement to Completion of Projects Occasionally Travelling Throughout the UK on Weekends or at Night Essential Requirements: Graduate Degree Holder in a Relevant Subject Full UK Driving Licence Excellent Written and Verbal Skills, Specifically Report Writing and Client Liaison Strong IT Skills Self-Motivated, Proactive with a Positive Mentality Eligible to Work in the UKKnowledge of Building Regulations or relevant British Standards alongside previous on-site experience would be advantageous. Experience using AutoCAD, CadnaA or similar software packages would also be beneficial but not essential. Alternatively, experience or accreditation in Building Acoustics (UKAS/SITMA) in line with Approved Document E will support you in your application to the Graduate Acoustic Consultant role.
