Heat Network Engineer London & South East £45,000-£55,000 + Van + Package We're recruiting a Heat Network Engineer for a specialist engineering business operating and maintaining large-scale district and communal heating networks across London. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the maintenance, performance and optimisation of heat networks, working across energy centres, communal heating systems and Heat Interface Units. The Role Service and maintain district and communal heating networks Carry out planned and reactive maintenance Diagnose faults across heat network systems Service and fault-find Heat Interface Units (HIUs) Work across energy centres and associated plant Monitor network temperatures, pressures and performance Investigate poor heating and hot-water performance Carry out system optimisation and efficiency improvements Work with pumps, valves, heat exchangers, controls and metering Support commissioning and network performance testing Complete technical reports and maintenance documentation Liaise with residents, clients and site management teams The Candidate Heating, mechanical or building-services engineering background Experience with district heating, communal heating or heat networks advantageous Strong knowledge of LTHW heating systems Experience with HIUs highly desirable Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability Knowledge of pumps, valves, plate heat exchangers and controls Commercial heating experience considered Plumbing / heating qualification advantageous Strong customer-facing skills Full UK driving licence Package £45,000-£55,000 basic Company van Fuel card Pension Company benefits Specialist heat-network training Ongoing technical development Career progression The Opportunity This is an excellent move for a Commercial Heating Engineer, HIU Engineer or District Heating Engineer who wants to specialise further within the rapidly developing heat-network sector.
