Senior Linux & Python Infrastructure Engineer

Up to £550pd (Inside IR35)

6-month contract

Glasgow / 3 days onsite

My client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong Linux and Python expertise to support the development, integration and maintenance of large-scale enterprise infrastructure platforms. The role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, security remediation and storage technologies.

Key Skills

Strong Linux engineering and administration experience

Excellent Python development skills

Infrastructure integration and troubleshooting

CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Security remediation and system hardening

Experience working within complex enterprise environmentsNice to Haves

Perl

SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS or Object Storage

Ansible, SaltStack or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling

VMware / virtualisation technologies

Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker

Azure, AWS or Google Cloud

Vulnerability management and security tooling
