Job Role: Site Engineer
Industry: Data Centre
Contract: 6 Months
I am looking for a Site Engineer to join a large scale data centre project in the north-east of the UK.
You will play a key role in ensuring works are set out accurately, safely and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out foundations, groundworks, RC structures and external works
- Establishing grid lines, benchmarks and control points
- Using Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment
- Checking line, level and tolerances
- Producing as-built surveys and QA records
- Working closely with Site Managers, subcontractors and design teams
- Coordinating engineering works across site
- Drainage, chamber installations and underground experience
Requirements
- UK right to work
- Previous Setting-Out or Site Engineering experience
- Strong surveying and setting-out skills
- Groundworks, foundations and RC experience
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience with Total Station and Leica
- Mission critical experience preferred
Profiles local to the area are highly desirable
